Hays County Veterans Memorial

November 11th, 2003 

 The granite monument, is engraved with the names of Hays County residents (Buda, Driftwood, Fitzhugh, Henly, Kyle, Dripping Springs, Mountain City, Niederwald, San Marcos, Uhland, Wimberley, Woodcreek), including residents from Reedville, Martindale, and Staples who died in combat during World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, and Desert Storm.  Go to http://www.sanmarcos.net/veteransmemorial/  for more info.
