We have heard from Dave Stading, he is due to ship back stateside from Iraq in a few more weeks and to quote him he is looking to enjoy some “Beer and Barbecue.” Glad to have you back home.
For those of you who want to help our troops overText Box: seas please contact Stephanie Harris or Holly Jo West of the Ladies Auxiliary as they are working with several families on sending care packages to our troops in Iraq.
As always thank you for your service and continued commitment to our country and the American way of life, my family and I appreciate it.

Text Box: If you have not been down to hall lately please stop by and take a look at what we are doing.  We have started refurbishing the walls and the ladies have started in the kitchen with new food service grade paneling.  Fridays are the best time as we still have our breakfast from 8:00 – 9:00 AM but we stay down there longer gossiping about everything that has happened

Operation Continued Support” Leaders Carol & Lea Wilder worked hand in hand with the Ladies Auxiliary of Post 3413 to make family’s feel welcome.  The families had time to meet and get to know each other.  Veterans from our post were there to talk about their experiences

Valentines Day may have started out with a big chill. Snow had fallen for the first time in sixteen years.  Despite that there was a warm welcome waiting for family members of the San Marcos Army Reserve unit serving in Iraq. 

ith the families.  Everyone thought it was a great idea and thanked us for our hard work and consideration.    The Ladies Auxiliary plan on doing another event in the future.

SSG Marlene Rivera’s husband and two sons came from San Antonio.
