be dedicated in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, May 29, 2004. The Memorial Day weekend celebration on the National Mall will culminate an 11-year effort to honor America’s World War II generation. The memorial was authorized by Congress in 1993.

Text Box: The memorial consists of 56 seventeen foot tall pillars arranged in a semi-circle around a central plaza, with two 43 foot tall arches, one on either side and Freedom wall containing 4,000 gold colored stars. The plaza is 337 feet 10 inches long and 240 feet 2 inches wide, it is

other than Brisket and Sausage.  The food was good and served hot!  Even the line moved fairly quickly for 115 people. All in all the event was a success  - thanks to all for your hard work!

Just a quick note to thank you all for all of the hard work that went into presenting a very good District V Convention.  The Hall looked fantastic after all of the renovation/remodeling.  Hard to believe it was the same place!  People were very impressed with all the nice decor.   The luncheon was really nice.  So nice to have something
