I am renting a passenger van and will be at the Post at 7:00 with coffee for those who want to carpool without having the headache of driving and parking to the all the various events.  The itinerary looks like this; 7:30 – 9:30 AM Goodnight Jr, High. 10:00 –11:30 Memorial Ceremony, 12:00 – 1:00 Texas State celebration and fly over.  Lunch after that, a visit to the Legion hall and then back to the potluck.

The Veterans Day parade is being held on Saturday November 13th, in downtown San Marcos starting at 9:00 AM.  I am asking that we have as many Veterans out to show support for those who are serving now we do have a parade float so you can sit or walk, your choice.  Our Grand Marshall this year is Lt. Richard Mizanin, U.S. Army Reserve, who returned several months
