There will be a rally on Thursday, November 11, 2004 at 5 pm at the Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post 3413 at 1701 Hunter Road. The San Marcos School District is orchestrating the rally by sending out notices to all students in the school district. They are calling on all PTA/PTO/PTSA leaders to help with a potluck dinner at the rally. |

Commander West will be a guest speaker at the rally. The school district would like to show all students they appreciate the sacrifice the students and their families are making during this time . a great chance for us to rally together and support our veterans. We have many vehicles if you would like to be in the parade. There are many new veterans who know nothing about our organization. I ask that you come to the hall Nov.12th to help decorate the hall for the veterans meal. We are also asking for donations to provide the deserts for that meal. The |

In case you haven't noticed someone has been cleaning the flower beds out front of your VFW. There are new beautiful perennials thriving with weekly care. The Girl Scouts of San Marcos got together to show their appreciation to the Veterans. Thanks Girls, it looks great! |
